Every door we build is custom designed and manufactured for each specific job site and opening.

We will be glad to assess your security needs and the specific opening you need secured, and to help determine the best solution for you, but as a general rule;

Roll-up (open pattern) grilles work best in storefronts that are under 30 feet wide, or in parking spaces that require airflow to vent engine exhaust.

Side-folding accordion doors work best on larger openings 30 feet plus, or when the storefront includes curves. Sliding gates are typically the least expensive way to secure a large opening.

Small shutter (LIGO or PFC) work best on counter top applications, or when headroom is limited.

Retail models = 25,000

High cycle (5-25 parking spaces / garage applications) = 100,000

Extreme high cycle (25-200 parking spaces / garage applications) = 250,000

Standard limited warranty on all Alumatec model doors is 1-year.

Extended warranties for 1-additional year and up to 4 additional years can be added to the limited warranty *additional charges may apply

Standard lead-time on our standard model doors is 3-business days

In emergencies (e.g. existing door is down, and storefront / parking garage is no secured) Alumatec will produce, fabricate, and ship your new door within 24-hours at no additional charge.

Yes, Alumatec has a full staff of service technicians offering 24-hour and weekend service to insure your service needs will always be met. All after-hour and weekend calls will be answered and handled by an Alumatec employee.

Alumatec does not contract out service or after-hour calls.
